We have another busy week coming up!
Our HS girls and boys basketball game against Garner has been rescheduled for tomorrow (1/11/2025). The girls game will begin at 6:30pm, followed by the boys.
We have communicated the fact that our departure from Throckmorton is dependent upon the end of our county show and sale. We anticipate our bus to leave at 4:30pm.
We will communicate any changes to this schedule. Thank you all for your understanding, and please drive safely if you choose to come out in support of our basketball teams!

Good morning TCISD community. Due to the inclement weather that we are experiencing, TCISD will be closed today. We will return to school on Monday (1/13/2025). All extracurricular activities associated with the school are also canceled for today. Please check back for decisions about Friday's events.

🚨 Weather Update for TCISD Families 🚨
We are closely monitoring the weather forecast as winter weather is expected to move into Throckmorton early Thursday morning (1/9/2025). TCISD administration are actively making plans to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff.
As of now, TCISD is planning a delayed start tomorrow:
School Start: 10:00am
School Release: 4:15pm
Please be aware that if weather conditions worsen, there may be a need to cancel school altogether. We will make a final decision by no later than 8:00am Thursday morning and will notify all families through our district app and social media outlets.

Good morning TCISD!
The demolition crew has started the process of bringing the old elementary building down. As a result, we have had to block the alley way that comes off of College Street (See image below). The parking lot to the north of the old high school is still accessible. but everyone will need to access it via the driveway that circles around behind the old gym. The alley will be closed throughout the entire demolition process. Please make plans to avoid this area until notified by the district. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation with this!

Join us during halftime of the girls' game for a special contest that you won’t want to miss!
🎟️ How to Enter:
Pay just $1 to enter the drawing and get the chance to be a contestant!
Three lucky contestants will be drawn at the start of halftime to participate.
🏆 The Challenge: Each contestant will have one minute to make a lay-up, a free throw, a 3-point shot, and a half-court shot. The first person to complete the challenge will WIN the Grand Prize!
🚨 No Winner? No Problem! If no one completes the challenge, the grand prize will carry over to the next contest!
🎁 Prizes for Contestants: All contestants will receive a basketball signed by all of our HS and JH girls' and boys' basketball players as a token of appreciation for participating and supporting our basketball program!
