Mark your calendars Meet the Hounds 2024. JULY 29th @630pm.
Please be advised that ALL facilities are off limits tomorrow (5/24/2024) for pest extermination. This temporary closure is mandatory for everyone, and it includes the elementary campus, secondary campus, the entire gym facility, as well as the ag building. We are closing facilities to keep everyone safe from the chemical being used, and it is extremely important that no one enter any district facility without authorization from district administration until Saturday (5/25/2024).

Everyone at TCISD wishes our students, staff, parents, and community a safe and happy summer break! Please be advised that office hours will be 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday throughout the summer.
We're currently working out the details for summer school as well as making plans for a great 2024-2025 school year. District administration will communicate summer school needs as information is distributed to districts regarding STAAR results from TEA.
The most exciting and anxiously awaited part of the coming year is the move to the new school building. Be on the lookout for information coming out more routinely regarding the status and progress of our construction efforts. Things are looking great, and we are looking to start the 2024-2025 school year in the new building! We plan to hold a final community event at the old elementary school before it is torn down. Details and information on this event will be released soon!

We would like to congratulate two very hard working and deserving seniors. The valedictorian of the graduating class of 2024 is Ms. Olivia Fauntleroy, and the salutatorian of the graduating class of 2024 is Mr. James Gaspar. These two students have demonstrated their exceptional commitment to academic excellence, and we are very proud of both of them! Please join us in recognizing these students as well as each of our graduating seniors during our graduation ceremony this evening at 7:00pm in the high school auditorium.

We have made a calendar change for May 17th. We will be releasing school at 12:45pm that day. This change is being made in order to provide time for our graduating seniors and families to get prepared for the graduation ceremony taking place that evening.
As a part of Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to highlight our Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers! Lisa Everett, Patrick Delaney, Becky Gage, and Rudy Leal work to prepare our students for successful careers in the areas of agriculture, ag mechanics, business, and manufacturing/design. Our kiddos have opportunities to work with some amazing teachers learning skills that can help them in their pursuits after high school graduation.

Congratulations to our girls 4x400 relay team! They came away with the gold medal, and set a new conference 1A state record!!!
