hard work this 9 weeks!

We apologize for the confusion this morning with the alley between the old elementary and old high school. The asbestos abatement crew is working to clear the old elementary building, and their work has required that the alley be closed temporarily.
You may enter the gravel parking lot behind the old high school by driving through the gate off of North Reynolds and circling behind the old gym. As soon as this closure is lifted, we will communicate with the community.
Thank you for your understanding!

We want to congratulate each of our Academic UIL participants for a great effort at this year's district competition hosted by Perrin-Whitt CISD earlier this month. The results are in, and we are proud to say that many of our students performed exceptionally well. Overall, our elementary school came in 4th place and our junior high school came in 6th place. Progress has been made with point total over last year, and we are looking forward to even more growth in the future. Thank you to the many teachers who invested time in preparing our students for success as well as our UIL coordinators, Mrs. Rodgers and Mrs. Hare, for making this year's academic UIL a meaningful experience for our students!
Individual and team results to follow...

We are very proud of the results of our junior high Academic UIL kiddos this year. Many of those who competed were recognized for their efforts in the individual and team events! We're proud to see the growth that Academic UIL is showing within our school, and we're looking forward to seeing this continue. Please see the images below and be sure to congratulate these kiddos when you see them!

Our elementary Academic UIL performance was spectacular this year. Though we finished in 4th place overall, we saw large growth over last year's point total. Many of our students were recognized for their hard work in the individual and team events. Please see the images below and be sure to congratulate these kiddos when you see them!

Here is a Spirit Day reminder and next week's events for you, we wish all our students and their families a very Merry Christmas!

Please come out this evening to see the band program's Christmas Caroling on the courthouse lawn. We are set to begin at 6:30pm, and there will be hot chocolate, coffee, a live nativity, and some wonderful Christmas music! We look forward to seeing everyone!

Attention TCISD parents and guardians. Due to a significant water main break in town, the school had lost all water pressure. This has resulted in a complete loss of all toilets, sinks, and water fountains. Out of necessity, we are going to be dismissing school at 3:30pm today. Please make arrangements to come pick your children up at 3:30pm. All bus routes will run at this time, and the pick-up line will begin at this time as well. Please contact the school at 940-849-2411 if you are unable to pick your child up and we will work with you to help get your children home. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation with this change to our normal schedule.

Congratulations to Taylor Koonsman on graduating from TSTC last Thursday evening!!!
Taylor graduated with his Diesel Mechanics certification and plans to seek employment with Bobcat of Abilene.
We are so proud of this young man for his accomplishment, and we're thrilled to see another of our P-TECH students successfully complete their post-secondary studies!

Just a MeRrY reminder that our Christmas music program is next week,
Thursday, December 19,⋅at 9:00 AM. Please join us in the new cafeteria for the presentation. Afterwards, students will change into PJs for the, "Dream a Little Dream" fun day.
